Starshine: Chapter 3“I’m hungry! It’s against StarClan’s will to starve kits, it’s not right!” Wolfkit was dangling from the brawny rogue’s jaws, moaning about her diminishing appetite. He replied, his voice muffled from her fur “Grace had already caught two mice and a vole, and you are still hungry?” Wolfkit jolted her nose up “No manners have you? As a hostage, I demand that you feed me until I am content! All I ask for is three more squirrels, otherwise I will gauge your eyes out” she ended with a popping sound, imitating the tom’s eyes being dug out of its sockets. Wolfkit gave upStarshine: Chapter 3

Starshine: Chapter 2Petalkit wept in the medicine cats’ den, watching Leafpool turn away from Ferncloud’s limp body, unable to bring her back “You are in the paws of StarClan now” Leafpool vowed “You shall walk the skies of Silverpelt, watch us from below with starry moonlit eyes” Hazeltail wailed and rested her chin on Ferncloud’s cold flank “We will avenge your death” she mumbled “You’re safe now, out of harm’s way” Petalkit swabbed her tears with her grey forepaw, looking in dismay at Ferncloud’s glazed eyes, lifeless and dull. Starshine: Chapter 1Petalkit parted her jaws and let out a squeak of complaint as her sister bowled her over. “Get off me Wolfkit, your crushing me!” “Come on Petalkit, don’t be such a cranky elder, are you going to fight back or just sit there” she gave her sister an affectionate cuff around the ear. It was sunhigh, and Petalkit was disturbed between napping by Wolfkit “Kits need sleep...I need sleep” “Stop living in dreams, this is reality” Wolfkit gave a displeased swish of her tail, and stalked around her nest, bored out of her mind.Starshine: Chapter 1
